The Keota Eagle boys basketball team enjoyed a terrific season offensively this year. They finished third in class 1A scoring 72.6 points per game and 1,743 total, eighth most in 1A. The Eagles topped the 80 point threshold seven times during the season, 90 points twice and hit the century mark in a 100-44 win on the road against Tri-County. Individually, the Eagles were led by JD Stout who topped the South Iowa Cedar League and class 1A at 29.1 points per game. Luke Hammen checked in at 12 points per game, eighth in the SICL, Carson Sprouse put up 11 points per game, ninth in the SICL. Keota finished the season with a 20-4 overall record.
