The Mid-Prairie girls track and field team started the spring sports season Monday with a trip to Cedar Falls to run indoors at the Dickinson Relays on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa. At the meet, the Hawks competed in seven different events with a partial team. Top finish for the Hawks came from Mitzi Evans taking fourth in the 400m with a time of 1:03.18. She also had a top 10, finishing sixth, in the 800 with a time of 2:24.15.
Other top finishes for the Hawks included Amber Swart 14th in the 60m dash and 20th in the 200, Tori Boyse 18th in the shot put, Angelina Evans 26th in the 1500 and the 4×400 team took fifth place.
