An Ainsworth man was arrested after appearing to be under the influence at the Washington County Courthouse Wednesday. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 12:48 p.m. authorities were notified of a man leaving the courthouse who appeared to be under the influence. An officer stopped the vehicle at North 4th and East 7th Street. Washington Police and Washington County Sheriff’s personnel responded to the scene. Officers arrested 48-year-old Robert Joseph Creamer of Ainsworth. He was charged with possession of methamphetamine third offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under the influence second offence. Also, he was given written warnings for no insurance and improper lanes. He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
