The Lone Tree girls basketball team had a pair of players light up the rest of the Southeast Iowa Superconference from long distance. Lady Lion senior guard Holley Johnson led the entire Superconference connecting on 39 three point goals this season at a 32.5% clip. Her teammate, junior Maddie Jacque, was right behind with 35 made three point goals, fourth in the conference and a 41.7% mark. That pace was ninth best in all of class 1A for those who attempted at least 80 in the most recent season. The pair combined for more made three point goals than any other tandem in the league. The Lady Lions finished with a 13-11 overall record.
