Highland basketball senior Mason McFarland was one of the best in the state at the free throw line in the most recent season. The senior finished 59 of 71 at the stripe for an impressive 83.1% mark on the year. That total was best in the entire Southeast Iowa Superconference for those who attempted at least 10 on the season and 10^th best in Iowa for those who shot at least 50. That includes a stretch of 16 consecutive made free throws to start the season. The Huskies finished with a 20-5 overall record.
