A man wanted for a Department of Corrections parole violation was arrested in Riverside Friday. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 3:36 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop at Schnoebelen Street and East Hickory Street. The officer arrested 44-year-old Gary Lee Albright of West Des Moines on parole violation on the original charge of prohibited acts – manufacture, delivery, conspire, or possession with intent of methamphetamine. There was no bail or bond hold, and nationwide extradition or pickup was issued. Albright was taken to the Washington County Jail with extradition arrangements to be made.
That was related to a vehicle stop that happened earlier in Riverside. At 11:27 p.m. a traffic stop was conducted and officers arrested 41-year-old Katherine Maree White of Ottumwa for driving under suspension times 10, failure to obey a stop sign, and registration violation.
