This past winter was full of nail biting thrillers for the Washington girls’ basketball team and a big reason why they had an above .500 record was their work on the defensive end.
The Demons gave up just 43 points per game that ranked second in the Southeast Conference. The team’s 43 blocks stood atop of the league and Addison Six accounted for 34 of them. Washington forced 142 steals and corralled 24 rebounds a night.
The Demons finished the 2019-2020 campaign with a 12-10 record.
