The WACO Community School District will be providing free pre-packaged meals to students starting today. The packages are filled with enough food for two days, or eight meals in total. The school will be handing out packages on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. These packages are available to any child 18 years old and younger, even those who may not be in school. Students will be able to pick up these meals at the high school in Wayland or WACO Elementary in Crawfordsville. The school will be monitoring who is picking up meals, in compliance with state mandates. Students who are outside of the Wayland and Crawfordsville city limits can call either the high school or elementary to set up delivery services. Further instructions and details on carry out services can be found on the WACO website and their social media pages.
