A Sigourney man was arrested in West Chester Monday night on a Keokuk County warrant and is now facing additional charges. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 8:15 p.m. a deputy was out with a subject in custody. The officer had arrested 34-year-old Clayton Duane Brown who was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear for show cause hearing with $1,000 bond. Charges are also pending for assault on a peace officer, interference with official acts, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Keokuk County Jail.
