In an effort to both support local businesses and give people fun activities while practicing social distancing, the Washington Chamber of Commerce has launched social media challenges. The Chamber Buck Challenges will be held over the next few weeks to connect the community in the face of COVID-19. Some of the challenges held so far include decorating a window of your home or business for people to see as they go for a walk or drive, and another was sharing a funniest home video. The Chamber Bucks are gift certificates that can be used at participating Chamber members in Washington. All of the challenges are being presented on the Washington Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page.

The Chamber has also partnered with Main Street Washington to promote Washington Dines In on Fridays, where people are encouraged to get take-out from their favorite local restaurants to enjoy at home.
