Help support local businesses and the local economy by shopping locally while getting a reimbursement in Chamber Bucks. The Washington Chamber of Commerce and the City of Washington are incentivizing support of the local business community. Residents who spend $50 at a business in the Washington area will be eligible for $10 in Chamber Bucks. If you spend $50 or more at any local business, take a photo of your receipt, complete the online form, and the Chamber will mail you $10 in Chamber Bucks.

The promotion excludes gas, utilities, tobacco products, medications, gambling, and alcohol. It can be applied to food for pick up or delivery, groceries, purchasing gift certificates to use later, or online purchases at local retailers. Receipts must be dated between April 1st and May 31st, or until allocated funds expire.

The $10 in Chamber Bucks can be used like a gift card at Chamber member businesses. The funding is coming from monies received from the Washington Hotel Motel Tax. Click here to go to submit a receipt for the program.
