Former Columbus-Winfield-Mt. Union wrestling standout Jarod Kadel recently finished his first year on the mat at perennial power Oklahoma State. Although he didn’t appear in any of the Cowboys regular season duals or national tournaments, he did account for a 7-5 overall record during the year taking part in three tournaments prior to Christmas. He piled up four victories at the Oklahoma City College Open including one fall and one major decision. At the Lindenwood Open Kadel posted a 1-2 record. At the Bob Smith Open in December, the former Wildcat also went 2-2.
