The 2020 spring grant awards from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation have been cancelled. They were originally scheduled for May 13th. The Riverboat Foundation serves as the non-profit license holder for the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort. Last spring, the WCRF presented 22 grants for a total of $1.4 million to area non-profit organizations, cities, and school districts. Since 2006, the WCRF has awarded over $46 million.

Due to COVID-19, the governor has ordered all casinos in Iowa closed through April 30th.
