In snowy conditions Wednesday morning, a van wrecked on Highway 218. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, at 5:27 a.m. a van went into a ditch on Highway 218 near the Highway 92 ramp by Ainsworth. The driver was 40-year-old Nicholas Wayne Taylor of Fairfield. There were no injuries. Taylor was cited for failure to maintain control of the vehicle. About two inches of snow fell in the Ainsworth area Wednesday morning.
