A spring snowstorm dumped inches of snow across the KCII listening area Thursday night into Friday morning. According to the National Weather Service out of the Quad Cities, Washington received about five inches of snow. Columbus Junction had 2.5 inches, Mt. Pleasant had five, Salem had 6.5 and Fairfield had about four inches of snow. Typically, in the month of April Washington receives 1.7 total inches of snow.

Temperatures are expected to be warm through the weekend and rise up to the high 60’s on Tuesday. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
