It’s been over a month without sports of any kind and fans are going crazy to get their fix. Instead of binge-watching old games on YouTube, get your fix by listening to the KCII PM Sports Page and KCII Radio Coaches Corner every week.

With no activities going on, KCII Sports decided to change up the format temporarily and go deep into the archives of Southeast Iowa sports. During the PM Sports Page for the next few weeks we highlight historical venues at area schools. A lot of gyms and fields are named after an individual so our interviews with school officials talk about the history of these places. On the KCII Radio Coaches Corner, instead of talking to area coaches we chat with area athletes. We will talk with area spring sport seniors that had their final season stripped from them and give them a proper farewell before graduating.

The PM Sports Page airs every Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. and Thursdays at 1 p.m. Join us for the Coaches Corner every Saturday morning at 9 a.m.
