During this hiatus in Southeast Iowa, thinking about past nostalgic sports moments is common in order to still get some sort of sports fix. KCII wants to relive this nostalgia, as our Top 10 Best Sports Stories Countdown returns next week.

Everyday starting on Monday, we will unveil the best sports stories from area schools during the 2019-2020 school year. We will highlight Washington, Mid-Prairie, Hillcrest Academy, and have a separate countdown with all other area schools. The countdown will range from top team/individual achievements to feel good stories from the fall and winter season, as we work down from 10.
