Plants that were started by students as seeds can now be purchased at Washington High School. The FFA plant sale is happening through Saturday during daylight hours. The plants were started by students from seed in their plant science class earlier this year. Students were caring for the plants until school was called off in mid-March. The public can stop by the west side of the high school to purchase plants on an honor system with the prices listed on each table. Social distancing is encouraged, and people are asked to maintain a safe distance from others.

Vegetable plants are available including tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers, as well as flowers like geraniums, impatiens, and zinnias. There are also hanging baskets of flowers available.
