The Wellman-Scofield Public Library will put books and movies back into the hands of the public as they will be offering curbside checkouts. Starting on Monday, patrons will be able to check out three books and/or movies and pick them up at the library. Items that are returned will be cleaned and sanitized before they are checked out again. Patrons can order books by calling, emailing, or sending a Facebook message to the Library. Requests can be as vague as “picture books with animals” or as specific as a certain title. Their website can also be used to see what books are available at the library. Pickup times will be Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. only. Reserved items will be bagged, labeled with patrons initials and library card number, and placed at the pickup spot near the library.
