paws-van

A new van covered in paw prints, cats, and dogs can be seen around Washington assisting animals in need. PAWS and More Animal Shelter in Washington picked up its new van this week. The shelter thanks community members who donated to the effort to get the new van. The design was created by PAWS Board President Sheila Hanson.

PAWS Director Amber Talbot says they’ve been continuing to provide care for animals during the COVID-19 pandemic. She adds the shelter is here to help people and their pets, “We really wanted to share with the community to please call us. We are also extremely fortunate to have received quite a few donations from various businesses and Nestle Purina has provided significant amounts of pet food for us for the shelter animals and also to help the community. So, if us providing pet food to you is going to be able to keep your pet in your home with you, please reach out to us. We can provide you with, and even other supplies we may have available, so please don’t hesitate to call us.” PAWS and More is continuing to place pets with foster homes and adopt some out to their forever homes during the pandemic.
