Iowa Wesleyan University was set to celebrate their seniors on May 2nd, but the COVID-19 outbreak has forced that to be delayed. The University announced they will move their graduation ceremony and homecoming celebrations to coincide on October 23rd-25th. Vice President of Advancement and Athletics Derek Zander says, “Commencement for the 2020 class will be a memorable day as we celebrate their accomplishments and reflect on the resilience of our students during these unprecedented times.” The University will hold their graduation ceremony on Friday, October 23rd, and continue with their regularly scheduled homecoming activities, including the ribbon-cutting for the newly renovated Willis Wrestling Facility, the annual alumni banquet and Hall of Fame Ceremony, and the homecoming football game and parade.
