The WACO Community School District will celebrate their seniors in June. The district will hold their commencement on June 20th and welcome their students to the next part of their lives. WACO High School Principal Tim Bartels says the school will follow any health guidelines set by the Iowa Department of Public Health in order to keep students and families safe and healthy. The format of graduation will be discussed and announced later this week. He also announced the WACO prom will be held on June 13th, but will look vastly different from proms in the past as prom-like activities will have to be modified to fit the current social distancing guidelines set by the CDC. More details on how these events will be held and attendance restrictions will be announced later this week.
