The Medical Clinic at Washington County Hospital and Clinics has reopened for primary care. Patients are reminded to call ahead to schedule appointments to be seen by calling 653-7291. Many aspects of the facility were temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Social distancing practices are in effect to minimize the number of people gathered in one space, so patients are limited to one support person or caregiver. Children scheduled to see providers may have a parent or guardian present, but siblings won’t be permitted.
All patients will be screened when entering the facility and everyone is required to wear a facemask. People are asked to bring their own mask to help preserve personal protective equipment for medical providers. The WCHC Medical Clinic at 444 East Polk Street will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
