The school year is wrapping up for the Washington School District remotely. Superintendent Willie Stone announced that the personal belonging pick-up day will be May 27th and each building principal will be sending out schedules. Families will drive up to the buildings and staff will bring belongings out to vehicles.

Students will be keeping their computers during the summer this year, with the only exception being eighth graders. Eighth-grade students need to take their Chromebooks into the school the week of June 22 and exchange them for an Apple Macbook laptop that they’ll use in high school.

The lunch program has been approved to continue serving meals through the end of June. Only one meal pick up will be held t this week due to the holiday; on May 26th people can pick up four meals. The Stewart Elementary School lunch pick up has been moved to the south parking lot since there is construction on 4th Avenue.
