Two vehicles collided on Highway 218 near Riverside late Sunday. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 11:11 p.m. the two vehicles collided north of 130th Street and went into the east ditch. The two drivers were 69-year-old Martha Louise Dahlin of Ainsworth and 26-year-old Janson Antonio Jones of Cedar Rapids.

Washington County Sheriff’s personnel responded to the scene and requested Riverside QRS for an occupant complaining of shoulder pain. Washington County Ambulance responded and the person refused transport. Jones was cited for following too close. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
