The three-day Ridiculous Days celebration in downtown Washington kicks off today and runs through Saturday. People can peruse deals at local businesses either in their shops, at sidewalk sales, or on their websites and Facebook pages. The change allows people to take part while social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
KCII will be streaming live music with the Washington Chamber of Commerce Friday night starting at 7 p.m. on AM and FM KCII, online at KCIIRadio.com or on our free mobile apps. You can also see the KCII Big Red Radio downtown on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The three-day Ridiculous Days celebration concludes with a large antique tractor parade through town that’ll start at the Washington Fairgrounds, go past Halcyon House, McCreedy Home, Pearl Valley, the UP Home and through town on an expanded route. The route has spread out so people can view the parade while social distancing.
