Also, wash your hands frequently, and clean surfaces of items that are touched frequently like doorknobs and countertops.
As of Monday at noon, Iowa had 21,918 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 and 607 deaths. Also at that time, 265 patients were hospitalized in the state with COVID-19, 85 were in intensive care units, and 53 were on ventilators. Approximately 46% of the state’s inpatient beds were available and 492 ICU beds were available, as well as 755 ventilators. As of Monday, Iowa’s recovery rate was 58.7%.
