The Keota Community School District has ended their free lunch program for the summer prematurely. Original plans were to stop the program on June 12, but due to a refrigerator breaking down, the program ended on Monday. All the food in that refrigerator had to be disposed of. The Food Bank of Iowa will be in What Cheer on Tuesday and July 14 for mobile food pantry events. Those events will take place at 106 East Broadway Street starting at 3 p.m.
