A Lockridge man was treated for injuries after wrecking his vehicle Saturday morning. At 5:13 a.m. the Henry County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single-vehicle crash in the 1400 Grid of Franklin Avenue near Wayland. At the scene, 25-year-old Brandin Lee Bromell was found with his totalled 2002 Chevrolet S10 pickup. Bromell told sheriff’s personnel that a deer ran out in front of his vehicle causing him to swerve, lose control of his vehicle, and enter a ditch. He then struck and ramped over a driveway which caused the vehicle to strike a utility pole. The vehicle was a total loss. Bromell was transported to the Henry County Health Center. He was given citations for failing to maintain control of a motor vehicle and failure to provide financial liability in an accident. Wayland Fire and First Responders and paramedics with Henry County Health Center assisted at the scene.
