Members of the Wayland Area Antique Tractor Club will roll through the KCII-listening area this weekend. For over 20 years, members have taken their oldest and most unique tractors out for a ride, and this year’s ride will be happening this Saturday. Member Dan Mottet says he was afraid the COVID-19 pandemic was going to cancel this year’s events, but luckily, he says, the event will still happen this year. The group of 12 will begin in Wayland at 8:30 a.m. heading northwest to Rubio, then north on State Highway 77 to Tallyrand, then east on 250th Street to Washington for lunch, and finally heading south on Wayland Road back toward Wayland. The event is open to members only to participate, Mottet says members of the public are always welcome to check out the tractors along the route.
