This weekend 18 Hillcrest Academy Ravens will soar into their next journey as they receive their diplomas. This will be the first official class of Hillcrest Academy Ravens, as last summer the school changed from Iowa Mennonite School. Graduation will take place, in a socially distant manner, on Sunday at 4 p.m. Only seniors and four of their immediate family members will be allowed to attend the ceremony. The ceremony will be recorded and then uploaded at 6 p.m. so community members can still celebrate the seniors’ accomplishments from home. Principal Dwight Gingerich says personal protective equipment, such as face masks and gloves, and hand sanitizer will be available for those in attendance. After the ceremony concludes, the public is invited to a parade around the campus starting at 5:30 p.m. to extend their congratulations to the class of 2020.  The recorded graduation ceremony can be found at this link: www.hillcrestravens.org/classof2020
