The Louisa County Courthouse has reopened its doors since shutting down in March due to the COVID-19 outbreak. On Tuesday, the courthouse reopened on an appointment only basis for those who have driver’s license and title transfer issues to resolve. Treasurer Vicki Frank says tag renewals and tax payments are still required to be paid online, by mail, or via their drop box at this time. Written driver’s license tests and driving tests will not be held at this time. The Treasurer’s Office recently had glass panels installed in order to prepare for the reopening of the courthouse. Frank says those who have questions or are unsure of the current procedures for appointments can call the courthouse for more information.
