Scoring early and often was the theme for the Sigourney softball team on Friday, as they closed out the first week of the season downing South Iowa Cedar League foe BGM 12-2 in six innings. 

The Savage offense scored in all but one inning including plating three in the third and four in the fourth to make it a short night. Sigourney belted 11 hits led by a 2-for-4 with three RBI performance from Macy Fisch. Madi Richard, Kaylee Weber, and Raegan Rozenboom each added a pair of knocks. Courtney Hemsley picked up the win in the circle going three innings giving up two runs on two hits. 

The Savages move to 3-1 and start up the second week tonight against Iowa Valley.
