The Hillcrest Academy softball team had their senior night celebration spoiled Tuesday when they fell to the Mediapolis Bullettes by a 15-2 score in five innings. MEPO scored in all five frames played, posting a pair of runs in the first, a single tally in the second, four in the third, five in the fourth and three in the fifth to seal the win. They pounded out 19 hits on the night. Offensively, the Ravens came away with a season high six hits that plated a single game best two runs. Esther Hughes and Mia Graber each went two for three at the plate with one driven in. Graber doubled and tripled in the game. Norah Yoder and Yani Gutierrez each had a hit. Leah Bontrager and Hughes scored single runs. Hillcrest is 0-4 on the year and travels to Pekin Thursday. Mediapolis improves to 2-6 and will meet Lone Tree Thursday.
