This weekend will be golden as 75 Golden Hawks will receive their diplomas at the Mid-Prairie graduation ceremony. Along with other area schools, Mid-Prairie postponed their ceremony to June amid the COVID-19 outbreak. This ceremony will take place Sunday at 2:30 p.m. on the football field. Audience members will be limited to family members of the seniors including parents, grandparents, and siblings. Seniors will sit with their family members and groups will be spread out on the football field to comply with CDC social distancing guidelines. Valedictorian of the Class of 2020 will be announced at the ceremony. A livestream of the event will be available on the Kalona Cooperative Technology Company YouTube channel for other community members to watch the event live.
