The Kalona Historical Society and the Kalona Mennonite Society have cancelled the 2020 Fall Festival. Both organizations felt the current health situation is not safe enough to bring together community members at this time due to COVID-19 still circulating. The decision was made to hold the 50th anniversary of the event September 24 and 25, 2021.
