The offense got going early and the Keota baseball team never looked back on Monday night downing Tri-County 15-2 in five innings in South Iowa Cedar League action.

The Eagles plated three runs in the first, seven in the second, and added five more in the third to make it a short night. Keota was patient at the plate with 10 walks and they belted out eight hits. Brady Duwa went 2-for-2 with four RBI while Colten Clarahan and Caleb Waterhouse each knocked in two runs. Duwa, Clarahan, and Luke Hammen combined for five innings on the bump giving up four hits and two earned runs.

The Eagles improve to 3-4 on the season and look to get back to .500 tonight when they travel to Belle Plaine.
