The Fourth of July will be celebrated Saturday, and with that many offices and businesses will be closed Saturday and some on Friday. Banks will be closed on Saturday. The Washington County Courthouse will observe Independence Day a day early, with county offices closed Friday. The Washington Public Library will not have curbside pickup or other services available Friday.

You can hear four hours of Patriotic music on KCII both Friday and Saturday from 7-11 p.m. Tune in while you watch local fireworks shows. The KCII Big Red Radio will be at the City of Washington’s fireworks display at the Washington County Fairgrounds set to start at dusk. People are encouraged to practice social distancing.
