The final Southeast Conference doubleheader of the season concludes tonight for the Washington softball team, as they make a trip to rival Mount Pleasant.

The Demons are 6-11 overall and 1-7 in the SEC after falling to Fairfield in a doubleheader on Thursday. Kaitlyn Mitchell has been a steady bat at the top of the order with a .438 batting average and Kellie Dallmeyer has knocked in 14 runs. Cara Linnenkamp has recorded a 6.04 ERA in 53 innings in the circle. The Panthers have lost eight straight, as they are 2-11 overall and 1-7 in the league. Samantha Broeker is a tough out at the plate with a .516 average and eight RBI. Sydni Coleman carries the pitching load recording a 4.73 ERA in 50 frames.

Washington swept the Panthers in a non-conference doubleheader earlier in the season with 8-5 and 12-0 final scores.
