The Wellman-Scofield Public Library will begin their phased reopening plans this week. As of Monday, patrons are able to set up a 30-minute appointment to browse the library’s collection. Director Carol Wilkins believes she and her staff are ready to welcome back patrons in a safe and responsible manner. One family or individual will be allowed into the library at one time, after which all touched surfaces and materials will be sanitized and cleaned. The curbside pickup program is also available to check out materials if patrons do not feel comfortable coming into the library. To set up an appointment time or to check out books from the curbside pickup program, contact the library.
