On a wet Tuesday night in Lowden, the North Cedar softball team got by Mid-Prairie 2-1. The weather didn’t stop the Golden Hawk offense early as they jumped out to a lead with a single run in the first to take a 1-0 advantage. The score stayed that way until the Knights broke through in the fourth with two runs to take their first lead of the night. They would make that pair of tallies stand up the rest of the way. With the loss, the Golden Hawks fell to 1-10 on the season.
