One person was injured in a car wreck near Ainsworth on Wednesday. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 11:05 a.m. a single vehicle rolled on Highway 218 near 240th Street. One person was out of the vehicle with abrasions.

Washington County Sheriff’s personnel, Ainsworth QRS, Ainsworth Fire Department, Washington Rescue, Washington Fire Department, and Washington County Ambulance responded to the scene. One person was taken by ambulance to the University of Iowa Hospital. The name of the driver was not released.
