The Washington baseball team looks to close the regular season strong tonight when they welcome the Dutch of Pella to town for a single game. 

The Demons come into the contest with an 8-7 record after falling to Clear Creek-Amana 13-3 on Friday. Reece Mayer continues to lead the Washington offense with a .432 batting average and 17 RBI while Brady Knutson has a .375 BA. Lucas Kroll supports a 1.48 ERA on the hill in 23 2/3 innings of work. Pella is 9-9 and finished fourth in the Little Hawkeye Conference. The Dutch were last in action on Wednesday when they walked it off for a 7-6 win over Ballard. Nick DeJong is their top hitter with a .377 batting average and 12 driven in while Jason Knox hits .327. Mason Wittmer has compiled a 0.78 ERA in 18 innings pitched.
