In Monday’s first round of the class 1A regional softball playoffs it was all Sigourney, all the time, as the Savages cruised to a 12-0 win in four innings over the Moravia Mohawks. The Savages lit up the scoreboard early and often, plating six runs in the first, four more in the second and a pair of tallies in the fourth to finish the game early. Courtney Hemsley, Megan Stuhr and Carly Goodwin all drove in two. In the circle, Goodwin gave up just one hit and one walk on the night in her four innings of work while punching out 10. With the win, the Savages are now 14-4 on the year and will next be in action Wednesday when they host English Valleys in the regional quarterfinals.
