Area residents and businesses with KCTC phone services cannot call 911 on a landline. Washington County Emergency Communications tells KCII News that anyone with KCTC as their landline phone provider will need to use a cell phone for 911 calls until the issue is resolved. The problem was reported at approximately 10 a.m. The cause of the outage has not yet been announced. KCII News will bring you information as it becomes official.
