While the spring sports season may not have happened at high schools in the area, student athletes at Hillcrest Academy continued their hard work in the classroom. Four Ravens were named to academic all-state soccer teams by the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association this week.

Junior John Hughes was a first team academic all-state selection at midfield.

Senior Kobe Borntrager was a second team academic all-state selection on defense.

Senior Toby Chen was a second team academic all-state selection in the midfield

Junior Eli Ours was a second team academic all-state selection on defense.

To be eligible a student athlete had to be nominated by their coaching staff and maintain at least a 3.5GPA.
