Two Columbus Community softball players were awarded for their efforts on the diamond this summer, as Libby White and Emma Milder were recently named all conference by the Southeast Iowa Super Conference. 

White was the headliner being named to the second team for the North division as a pitcher. The sophomore recorded a 4.57 ERA in 38 1/3 innings of work in the circle and also had a .304 on base percentage offensively. Milder was the Wildcats’ top hitter with a .310 average by going 9-for-25 and three RBI with five runs scored. 

The duo helped Columbus to a 2-8 campaign.
