A two-vehicle collision slowed down traffic on Highway 218 Tuesday evening. At approximately 4:25 p.m. the Washington County Communications Office received a report of a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of 305th Street and Highway 218, near Crawfordsville. At the scene, an SUV could be seen with extensive damage to it’s rear end. Washington County Sheriff’s personnel were directing traffic through the area. The Washington County Ambulance transported one person to the Washington County Hospital with unknown injuries. The Crawfordsville Fire Department, Crawfordsville QRS, and Iowa Highway Patrol officers assisted at the scene. Names of the drivers have not been released.
