Six people were on a utility vehicle when it crashed in a field near Brighton Saturday night. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, at 8:46 p.m. a Honda Pioneer UTV was in a private field when it hit a downward slope and turned causing it to roll. The driver was Tyler Russell of Brighton.
One person was taken by ambulance to the University of Iowa Hospital, and a second person was taken by ambulance to Washington County Hospital and Clinics. And three others were taken by private vehicle for treatment of minor injuries.
The wreck happened in a field near the intersection of Highway 1 and Cedar Avenue.
