The Lone Tree softball team enjoyed plenty of postseason awards, as five members received all conference recognition from the Southeast Iowa Super Conference.
The Lions had two members on the first team for the north division in Abby Buckman and Arlie Lorack. Buckman finished her decorative career as the all time strikeout leader in program history and this summer recorded a 2.54 ERA in 85 1/3 innings of work. The senior recorded 130 strikeouts in the shortened campaign that ranked third in the division and also did some damage offensively with a .439 on base percentage. Lorack was the top Lion bat with a .380 average and 18 RBI including five home runs that led the league.
Holly Johnson was named to the second team as an outfielder. The senior collected a team-high 20 hits with a .320 batting average and nine runs scored. Lillian Miller and Kinley Hayes received honorable mention. Miller finished with a .333 BA and Hayes brought in 13 tallies.
